- Almost all the sexual in-game content has been removed or Nintendo's policies at the time, but a single girl dancing suggestively still remains, however she is fully clothes.
Violence & Gore

- Duke fights and kill his alien enemies with a slew of various guns and explosive weapon.
- High levels of blood and gore; aliens bleed when shot, blood splatters on nearby walls, alien corpses are plentifully gory and can be splattered with explosives.
- Ironically enough, though the sexual content was removed, the in-game violence and bloodshed seems to be ramped up compared to other ports (even the PC original)
Profanity

- Almost all cursing has be changed (e.g. "those alien bastards" to "those alien scum"), save for one usage of "damn" and Duke's iconic stolen catch phrase remaining untouched ("it's time to kick ass and chew bubblegum...")

- The "Steroids" item has been changed to "Vitamin X."
