Sex & Nudity

  • We see a teenage girl being raped. The scene is not immensely graphic, as it consists of a lot of quick/flashy scene and angle changes, but it is brutal and disturbing nonetheless. We see some thrusting and hear her crying. The scene ends with the rapist savagely biting her breast, which is shown. No other nudity is shown in this sequence.
  • In a nightclub scene, topless women in thongs dance on poles. Different people have sex in various positions with some female nudity, thrusting, and moaning. No male nudity.
  • Lauren takes a man back to where she is staying and they have sex. We see her hiked up on a table and see him thrusting and hear some moaning. No nudity is seen.
  • Lauren stumbles onto a mass grave, where some nude corpses are shown.
  • Many references to rape throughout (although only one scene is shown), bite marks on breasts.

Violence & Gore

  • The rape scene described above is brutal and disturbing. The woman is punched after being raped and bitten.
  • Lauren stumbles onto a mass grave, where bloodied, rotting corpses of female victims are kept. Very disturbing.
  • A woman digs her thumbnail into a would-be rapist's eyeball, and we see blood pouring out of it. She then whacks him with a purse full of rocks.
  • A lengthy fight scene involving two women and a murderer/rapist in a burning house. A woman is pushed, shoved, and choked, but not raped or killed. Not incredibly violent, but intense.
  • We see a charred corpse on an examination table.
  • A man is shot through a window. We see blood on his body. We later see him lying in a hospital bed, and even later hear that he is dead.
  • Several still shots of bloody, dead victims. Disturbing.
  • Many scenes of attempted violence and peril.

Profanity

  • About 6 or 7 F-words, 5 or 6 'god-damns,' other infrequent uses of "shit" and milder profanities, such as "damn" and "hell."

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A woman smokes cigarettes pretty frequently throughout the movie. Social drinking.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There are many scenes of danger and peril. Villains hiding in bushes and jumping out. A couple nightmare scenes.
  • The whole movie deals with the intense issue of murder and rape. People's lives are constantly in danger. Attempted murder, disturbing flashbacks, and scary chase scenes make the film score pretty high on frightening/intense scenes.
