I was deeply moved by this movie, directed by noted film maker in the Malayalam film industry, Jayaraj. Almost the whole movie revolves around the inmates of a mental asylum and a normal child that grows among the inmates thanks to a good hearted superintendent of the institution (Suresh Gopi). Though the characters are too good to be true, I would still rate the movie as excellent, because it teaches you quite a few things about love. I was moved to tears in more than one occasion while watching this movie.
This movie has increased the high respect I already have for Malayalam movie industry. The producer, director and all those involved in the movie deserve a big pat on their back. In these days where it is hard to find an Indian movie which is not made for commercial benefits, this movie is a huge relief. You must see the movie to know how it feels.
This movie is a must-see for all lovers of world cinema, and especially for those non-Keralite Indians who wrongly think that the only movies that are made in the Malayalam film industry are those third-rate cheap pornographic movies.
