This is the first film in a planned series of short films (and graphic novels) revolving around Detective Clint Powers.
Originally, the role of Victoria Thornhill was going to be portrayed by Melissa Gallo, but due to scheduling conflicts she had to be recast. She appears along with Allyn Bard in a picture within the evidence on the desk of Clint Powers.
The evidence in the police station includes many pictures of crew members, including the director Ritchie Steven Filippi, the second Assistant Director G. Robert Vornkahl, boom operator Christopher Hall, second unit DP Jeff Billings and production assistant Colin Dow.
Clint Power's car is a 1967 Ford Mustang.
Javier Morga was set to star opposite Nathaniel Marston as his partner, Detective Diego Espranza. The role had to be cut out due to length.
