I saw this film at the 2005 Hollywood DV Festival and thought it was very well made and contained some excellent performances. I thought Alex Patino, in particular, stood out as Bobby's father. Great job. I also stayed around for the Q&A afterward and heard Darrin Lipscomb's comments. Apparently the script was originally intended as a feature and winded up getting pared down to about 15 minutes. This film ended up winning the Best Short - Drama award at the festival and, though I didn't see all of the other Dramatic shorts, I have to say it is well deserved. I'll be interested to see more from both Patino and Lipscomb down the road.
