Fifteen years ago, we waited anxiously to see what the new year would bring for an entirely different reason than we are now. That’s right, we’re talking about the Y2K bug. Crazy fears of calamity were raised, gun sales soared, grocery stores were cleaned out, and one brave man stood up. One brave man showed us the way: Leonard Nimoy. Then, as now, many publishers saw the world’s growing concern and fear of the new millennium as a potential windfall and began churning out books, tapes and survival guides for the masses to buy.
