Starting a successful business at the age of 18 would be difficult for many, but it wasn’t for Kayla Robinson—owner of the Green Box Shop, which makes statement tees—thanks to one spotlight moment. Just when the teenager’s enterprise was running low on cash, Frank Ocean wore one that reads, “Why Be Racist, Sexist, Homophobic, or Transphobic When You Could Just Be Quiet” at the Panorama Music Festival last month in New York City. Suddenly legions of fans were clamoring to get their hands on one.

Stephen Colbert is in hot water after unleashing a series of insults against Donald Trump during Monday night’s episode of “The Late Show.”
During his opening monologue, the late night host defended CBS’s John Dickerson, who had interviewed the president for his show, “Face the Nation.” The president abruptly ended the interview when Dickerson pressed him on his unsubstantiated claims that President Obama had wiretapped his office. During his monologue, Colbert called Dickerson “a fair-minded journalist and one of the most competent people who will ever walk into your office.” The host then went on “to trade insults with the President of the United States to his face.”

“Mr. Trump, your presidency? I love your presidency. I call it ‘Disgrace the Nation,'” Colbert began. “You’re not the Potus, you’re the Blotus.

Avert your eyes, Brielle!
Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann's oldest daughter got a little more than she bargained for when she agreed to photograph her mom and stepdad for Valentine's Day.

Brielle was kindly taking photos of the couple in front of their Christmas tree (in February, yes), when Zolciak got a little handsy with her husband, grabbing his crotch.
"Goodbye," Brielle shouted on Snapchat. "What the f**k!"
Though the 19-year-old was horrified by her mom's Pda, Zolciak apparently found the photo charming, later posting it to Instagram.
"And to all a goodnight.... ❤," she captioned the photo.

It’s no secret that Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s six kids are crazy about them, and on Monday, the Don’t Be Tardy star took to Snapchat to brag about her 4-year-old son, Kash.
The Atlanta native, 38, posted a pic of a questionnaire Kash had filled out for him, gushing about his football player dad.

Donald Trump challenged Russia to hack Hillary Clinton Wednesday, saying in a press conference in Florida, "Russia, if you're listening, I hope you're able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing." "I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press," he added. Hillary for America Senior Policy Advisor Jake Sullivan released the following statement in response to Trump's comments: "This has to be the first time that a major presidential candidate has actively encouraged a foreign power to conduct espionage against his political opponent. That's not hyperbole, those are just the facts. This has gone from being a matter of curiosity,...

When you’re a child let loose in the world, there are only so many places to go. Shops, you quickly learn, harbour a cruel and unfair prejudice against customers whose pecuniary resources extend only to fourteen copper pence in a Winnie the Pooh purse. However expertly an eleven year old face plays out the internal dilemma of whether to buy this or that travel hairdryer, somehow the woman in Boots always knows.
The same goes for cafe owners and their supernatural intuition that a lone child drinking a glass of tap water isn't about to be joined by a table of high rollers who’ll order their weight in bacon butties no matter how convincingly she implies their imminent arrival by theatrically tutting and checking her fictional watch.

“Shut. Up. Sam.” The chorus around the world was deafening. Every TV set blaring out The Walking Dead was being watched by countless millions all shaking their heads at how Jessie managed to give birth to such horrendously annoying children. Be quiet, kid.
Season 6 has entered the agonising mid-season break, though that’s apt for a show which constantly bubbles up to a frenzy before ending storylines without much of a bang. Don’t get me wrong, The Walking Dead has some spectacular moments, but for every jaw-drop of excitement, there’s a jaw-drop of disbelief.
The mid-season finale was a very ‘Walking Dead’ episode, but while there were low points, it was an overall entertaining watch with a few excellent aspects that have us clamouring for more…

Who needs Stephen Curry in the NBA when his daughter, Riley, is clearly the real Mvp here? Golden State Warrior Stephen brought out his super adorable, almost 3-year-old daughter for his post-game press conference Tuesday, as has become a bit of a tradition, and she completely hijacked the interviews in the best way possible. She let her personality shine through while she sat on her dad's lap, unable to contain herself despite her best efforts. "Be quiet," she tells her dad, who is only trying to answer a reporter's question. Her words immediately garnered laughs from the crowd, which probably inspired her to be even cuter. Riley couldn't seem to sit still on Steph's lap, but to be...

After taking home the prize for Best Canadian Feature at last year’s Toronto After Dark Film Festival, Silent Retreat will be released on Canadian DVD through Black Fawn Distribution on September 2, 2014.
Directed by Tricia Lee, one of the strongest female voices in Canadian horror today, and starring Chelsea Jenish and Sofia Banzhaf, Silent Retreat is ultimately about women finding their voice and refusing to be silent, a theme that resonated with Lee while developing the film. With Silent Retreat, written by Corey Brown, Lee added her own spin to the genre: strong female characters combined with an emotionally resonant theme and classic horror imagery.

Vanessa Williams is breaking her silence about abuse. When she was 10 years old, the actress was sexually molested by an older girl she met on vacation with a friend's family. At the time, she had no idea what was going on and didn't tell anyone what happened."This older girl was one of the cool girls who would say, you know, 'Let's do this. Let's do that. Do you wanna try a cigarette?' One of those things where she made you want to feel like you were a grownup, and that was what made her cool," Williams said in an episode of "Oprah's Master Class."She continued, "She came into the room where my friend and I were sleeping and she told me to lie down on the floor. She took my bottoms off and she said, 'Be quiet,' and she went down on me. And at 10 years old,...

If I learned anything from the Evil Dead remake, it's that rehabbing in a cabin in the woods isn't exactly the best way to try to get clean and sober. Apparently, no one bothered to pass that message along to the protagonist in Silent Retreat, who's got more than addiction to fend off.

Nope. Sorry. Talking animals are not funny; they are a nightmare. The only thing less funny than a talking animal is a talking baby. Both things should be thrown directly into the ocean. Get out of here, you sub-intelligent trash. You don't know me. You don't know English. Your brains are far too small to have opinions about pop culture let alone the ability to sass a grown man. Enough. Be quiet, all of you. Well, it was fun while it lasted. Supernatural held off on featuring talking animals for 176 episodes, which I guess is commendable. In my opinion, 176 straight episodes is a very good run when it comes to excluding talking animals. Unfortunately, this was the sad week in which Supernatural finally went there. Call it a statistical inevitability, call it a creative tragedy, but animals spoke in "Dog Dean Afternoon" and it was the comedy equivalent...

Thursday night was a rough one for beloved, sometimes unpredictable performers and audience interaction. Wwd reports that Fiona Apple walked offstage at a Louis Vuitton party in Tokyo after the crowd refused to stop talking (no video yet, but wait). Before she left, Apple climbed on top of her piano to shush everyone and also attempted to silence them with a small metal bell. Upon leaving, she yelled, "Predictable fashion, what the fuck!" On the Roseland meltdown scale, this barely registers, but still: Be quiet when Fiona Apple is playing, everyone.

So, London.
It’s a hell of a town, and I’ve been visiting for a couple of days – eating fine, multi-cultured cuisine, exploring the sights, hearing the sounds, walking through the past alongside evolution in the Natural History Museum, roaming an ice cold Hyde Park to mainly watch the ducks versus swans and what-have-yous on the Serpentine (you know, giving them names and personalities and back stories), seeing what’s-his-face from off of being singer for Hard-Fi in Chancery Lane tube station and of course visiting the Tower of London, not to tickle the jewels and work the sceptre but mostly to be embarrassed by the absurdity of them all. The real stars of the Tower of London are the ravens.
Oh, and the jewelled guns in the White Tower. Amazing. That’s just rock ’n’ roll, that is.

Leslie Mann has stolen the show in some of the funniest frat-boy films in recent years. Here, on the eve of a sequel to Knocked Up, she discusses turning 40, working with her husband, Judd Apatow – and why Girls creator Lena Dunham makes her cry
It's ironic, given her surname, that Leslie Mann should have gained a reputation as a woman's woman. But over the past few years, Mann has built up a considerable fanbase for her appealingly natural comic presence in films that would otherwise be dominated by frat-boy humour. She was a scene-stealing girlfriend in The Cable Guy with Jim Carrey (1996), appeared alongside Adam Sandler in Big Daddy (1999) and famously threw up over Steve Carell in The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005). Her big breakthrough came in the 2007 hit Knocked Up, in which she played Debbie, the highly strung older sister of a twentysomething TV presenter who finds herself pregnant after a one-night stand.

Fusing love and Workaholics is never an easy task, but throwing Adam, Blake, and Ders into the pits of Valentine's Day singledom was never going to end well. The trio fall in love with a webcam girl, causing credit card debit, broken laptops, and broken hearts. But we do get the invention of the phrase "milk missles," so we can't be too mad at that. The best quotes below:
"The booty cheeks in here are flagrant."
"You're Such a hypothetical! You're a hypothetic."
"She's absolutely obsessed with the male human penis. And that is awesome. Because we have those things."
"I would like to ask you to wobble your noobs back and forth so I can ejaculate in my pants, not using my hands."
"Pardon The Interruption. It's more than just a cool show about sports. It's also the first words you heard your lovers spout."
"You sponsored by penis or what?...

Hard Knock Life: Troch Returns With Another Exquisite Examination on Anguish
Actress turned director Fien Troch returns with her third feature film, Kid, another beautifully wrought portrait of a family caught in the cross-hairs of a cruel existence, this time related almost entirely from the viewpoint of children. With this latest, perhaps a cap on a trilogy of films all dealing with children experiencing tragic circumstances, Troch definitely solidifies herself as one of the best up and coming Belgian directors, and you can certainly add her name to a very small list of up and coming female auteurs.
Two young brothers, Billy (Maarten Meeusen) and Kid (Bent Simons) share a washed out, somnolent existence with their mother (Gabriela Carrizo). It seems their father disappeared some time ago, leaving their mom in extreme financial difficulty, and more than just with bill collectors. She takes her boys to her sister’s farm,...

Lee Howard might be as close to an evil genius as we've met in quite some time, with his most evily, geniusy project being The QuiET RoOM BeARs. For those of you who like to be surrounded by horrific memorabilia and figurines, a Quiet Room Bear might be your ultimate friend to the end.
Last year we introduced you to Lee Howard and his labor of love, the QuiET RoOM BeARs, a line of stuffed animals (well, actually more unstuffed than stuffed by the time Howard gets done with them) personally transformed by the artist (read: patient) from a cuddly toy to a nightmarish creature. How's it done? Check out the trailer below and see for yourself.
Now after a year, the QuiET RoOM BeARs are thriving and Howard has even added a line of horrific breakfast cereal artwork (yes, you read that right…I told you, evil genius) to his online shop.

Los Angeles – Few rock bands that emerged during the '90s nu-metal phase still exist today and practically none have the amount of respect and admiration the Deftones receive from their musical peers. Countless bands cite the Sacramento-based group as a big influence on their music.
Saturday night (July 28) the Deftones stopped by the Troubadour in Los Angeles – an incredibly tiny, sweaty 300-capacity club – to perform their first proper show in nearly a year and their only solo date before heading out on a co-headlining amphitheater tour with System of a Down prior to their new, still-untitled album dropping on October 9. Soad drummer John Dolmayan and bassist Shavo Odadjian were both in attendance, enjoying the set alongside Dillinger Escape Plan frontman Greg Puciato.
The Deftones took no time dusting off the cobwebs as they erupted straight into “Rocket Skates” – one of the heavier numbers off their last release,...

I love titles with a comma in them. Whether it's enigmatic, like Craig Raine's book of poems The Onion, Memory, or plaintive (Will You Please Be Quiet, Please?) or exhortatory (Rabbit, Run) or elegiac (Larkin's Going, Going), the comma makes a little hook to lure you in. With films, it crops up in the good (Happy, Texas), the bad (Dude, Where's My Car?) and the indifferent (Lust, Caution), but the pause it creates is cheering in a high-speed digital age where punctuation is losing its potency.

Seinfeld, the infamous “Show about cautioning people against hitting golf balls into the ocean,” apparently didn’t serve as a cautionary tale, as a dead whale was just discovered in the Puget Sound with a golf ball in its stomach: A gray whale found dead in Washington state’s Puget Sound had been feeding on shrimp and also had some debris, including a golf ball, in its stomach, but scientists don’t know what killed the animal. I think we All know what killed the animal: Sommmmmeeeebodddyyyyy was wailing golf balls out into the ocean, and when the suffocating whale washed ashore, they couldn’t get a Real marine biologist there in time. Open and shut case. The garbage was minimal and not the cause of death, which remains under investigation with tissue tests, spokesman Brian Gorman said. It’s common for whales to pick up debris near urban areas because they are filter feeders.

Flanked by two babelicious bodyguards and a cluster of soldiers toting fake (we hope) sub-machine guns, Sacha Baron Cohen’s character from The Dictator made his first public appearance Monday night since spilling ashes all over Ryan Seacrest at the Oscars in February.
The actor appeared as the blissfully horrible despot at the Paramount Pictures presentation at CinemaCon, the annual convention for theater owners. No ashes were spilled, but no punches were pulled either.

When we last saw Robb Stark (Richard Madden), he was leading the North to war against King Joffrey (Jack Gleeson) to avenge his father's death, and after a string of victories that stretched south into the Riverlands, it looks as if the King in the North is on an unstoppable streak. However, as the late Ned Stark's eldest son will learn, this game of thrones is not all about winning the battles.
In Season 2 of HBO hit fantasy series "Game of Thrones" (Sundays at 9 p.m. Et), the newly-appointed King of the North will need to start using his head more than his sword. He's already sent his mother Lady Catelyn (Michelle Fairley) off to negotiate an alliance with King Renly (Gethin Anthony) in Highgarden, and he also has his captive, Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), at his -- and his direwolf Grey Wind's -- mercy.

When Rita Rudner makes a home movie, she doesn't mess around.
The endearing stand-up comic and sometime actress stars in "Thanks," a wry ensemble comedy making its national debut Thursday, March 29, on Showtime, in tandem with her latest comedy special, "Rita Rudner and 3 Potential Ex-Husbands."
In the film, Rudner plays Bunny, a good-hearted woman who has recently married into a dysfunctional clan headed by a crusty widower (sitcom veteran Paul Dooley). The film plays out as the older couple, his three adult children and their mates gather for three successive Thanksgivings while the country slides into a messy economic meltdown.
Rudner is also an executive producer on the film, which was written and directed by her husband, Martin Bergman, who cast the rest of the film with largely unknown members of a Southern California improvisational comedy troupe he and Rudner had worked with previously.

If there was ever a subject matter tailor-made for our Horrifying But Hypnotic category on PopWatch it was the tear-filled elimination of 13-year-old Rachel Crow on last night’s X Factor. I know it’s wrong, but part of me enjoyed seeing her emotional breakdown (she hit the floor, wailed, and said “You promised me” to her mother). Not because I like to see young girls suffer. But because I think we need to be reminded that while giving someone that age a chance at fulfilling their dreams is sweet, it can also be soul-crushing and you have to be...

AMC continues their “Dispatches from the Set” series of interviews with production designer Greg Melton, talking about creating a devastated highway and Hershel’s farm for the new season.
The start of the second season of The Walking Dead is less than 3 weeks away, with the 90-minute first episode premiering on October 16th.
“Q: In Season 1, you created a devastated downtown Atlanta. For Season 2, you got a stretch of devastated highway. How did they compare?
A: They were pretty similar, actually as far as getting them organized, and doing your homework and getting the blocking and positioning of things that need to happen as the scene unfolds. We got really great cooperation down here from the Georgia Department of Transportation to shut down a big four-lane highway, which was the biggest thing — we needed something major. Once we had that, it was just a matter of trying to figure out...

I'm not sure if my opinion is informed by having seen too many James Franco films or not enough, but I sure hate watching him in the movies. He's a wooden, lifeless actor and I was astounded when he was nominated for Best Lead in that Mountain Dew commercial of a picture, 127 Hours. Enacting an experience that was inescapably profound and practically religious in nature, Franco managed to convey nothing that suggested an interior journey. It was actually a stunning, almost anti-performance, and it just goes to show what insane and delusional lengths Hollywood will go to in order to create a star.
I think my favorite thing that Franco ever did was that piece for the New York Times that featured 14 actors acting. Franco, boozy, wordless and looking hot in a rent-boy moustache, made out with himself in a mirror, and that worked.
But the rest of his work?...

Christopher Judge talking to the audience at the Calgary Expo (image copyright Michael Simpson).
Christopher Judge, who played the alien character Teal’c on 10 seasons of Stargate Sg-1 and its two spin-off movies, has teased fans of the series with news that he has been cast in a ‘huge’ upcoming movie. Judge revealed the news today during his Q&A session at the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo.
“I shouldn’t even say anything,” Judge told the Expo crowd. “Ok, I can’t tell you what. There’s gonna be a big announcement in the next couple of weeks. So I just got cast in a huge film.”
The news brought a cheer from the audience but Judge did not reveal further details. His comments suggested, however, that it would be a genre film.

Dustin: Hey! I'm not the one that came up with the bright idea. Don't get mad at me.

It's raining in New York today, which means that it's probably a good idea to find a nice place indoors to stay dry, eat some junk food and catch a little entertainment along the way. Why not slip into your local cinema? While last weekend was all about horror, this weekend offers up a series of flicks designed to tickle your funny bone. If you're into super-famous people that you can't see, there's the big-time animated super-hero movie "Megamind" on your plate. If you like your comedy a bit darker, you might want to seek out the limited-release "Four Lions," which tracks four incompetent terrorists looking to bomb a spot in England (it's funnier than it sounds). And if you like your comedy non-existent, there's always the cut-your-own-arm-off epic "127 Hours," Tyler Perry's new movie "For Colored Girls" and the ultra-serious Valerie Plame scandal flick "Fair Game."
But if you're really serious about comedy,...

Ever since Radiohead became the standard by which all other bands are judged for maximum artistic expression, there has been a quest to name "the American Radiohead." Many have bestowed that title on Wilco, while some people (including MTV News' James Montgomery) have attached that moniker to Linkin Park. But there is a case to be made for Deftones, the Sacramento-based band who got lumped in with the nü-metal movement because of their hair, clothes and volume but in reality were so much more. If you consider their career arc, they match up quite well with Radiohead, as each band had a gritty debut album with one breakout single (in Deftones' case, that single was the bleep-heavy "7 Words") followed by an envelope-pushing follow-up and a quantum leap of a third album. On this day in 1997, Deftones dropped their sophomore effort (their The Bends, if you will) in Around the Fur.
