Justice Is a Trick Thing
claudio_carvalho28 October 2007
On the day of the California Presidential Primary, between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM, Bob Ellis is murdered in the toilet of a bar in French Quarter. Nina feels that Kim has feelings for Rick and is hiding information, but she leaves the safe-house since Teri is not feeling comfortable with her. When Elizabeth Nash, from the senator's advanced team, sees the photo of Alexis Drazen, she tells David Palmer about her affair and is sent to CTU for interrogation. She accepts the request of Jack Bauer to plant a bug in Alexis to permit tracing him. Keith schedules a meeting with Carl and records their conversation, when Carl explains why his father has backed off. The terrorists kill the agents and break in the safe-house, but Teri and Kim escape in a car. After an accident, Teri has amnesia due to her trauma.

In the fifteenth episode of "24", Keith proves to be smarter than I thought he could be. Elizabeth has a surprising attitude and accepts to meet with Alexis to help Senator David Palmer and CTU. The irrational attitude of Teri, driving through a shortcut, spoils this magnificent story. Who would go to a shortcut while running away from a murderer, leave the car and walk to see if is safe? This unreasonable and unbelievable situation was really terrible. My vote is seven.

Shame about the ending
MaxBorg8919 December 2007
After 15 episodes of televised perfection, 24 hits its first false note. Overall, this sixteenth hour isn't bad, but the final scene is an example of lazy, contrived writing, something that earlier shows were proud not to boast.

And yet it all looked so good: forced to cooperate with George Mason to protect Senator Palmer, Jack shows pictures of potential assassins to Palmer's staff, only to learn one of the aids, Elizabeth Nash, is romantically involved with the prime suspect, Alexis Drazen. Further troubles arise when the safe-house where Teri and Kim are staying is attacked, leaving mother and daughter with no other choice but to run for their lives - again!

No, that's not the contrivance, in fact it helps to keep the suspense high. The real disappointment doesn't show up until the very last minutes, with the introduction of a twist that is typical of this genre and would actually suit the storyline if it involved the right character. Alas, that is not the case, which means it's up to the main plot to keep viewers hooked. It does.

The Not-So-Safe House
Hitchcoc3 October 2018
The women are taken to a safe house. What a joke. The finest men the unit has are dispatched. They are totally incompetent. Somehow, the women get away through some fancy driving. Then comes the last scene. It is five minutes of ridiculous contrivance. I won't say what happens but it's beyond the normal sharp writing that this series entails. Still, there is lots of action. It was just a disappointment. We will see if it gets redeemed.

Just wait.....

Warning: Spoilers
Terri's progressive physical and mental decline seems to start after her "rape" in the cabin (which was more voluntary seducing her captor to distract him and protect her daughter). Thereafter, medical personnel of all types - over a long period - give possible reasons for her stomach pain, behavior changes, inability to emotionally accept a videotaped interview, inability to converse, and other vague signs/symptoms. The 24 writers and actress Leslie Hope's subtle performance continues dragging out Teri Bauer's slow physical/mental decline, while providing no reasons.

Photographed from behind, Teri somewhat staggers up the off-road onto which she had driven. At least twice, Terri's right-hand swings across her chest, clutching her left shoulder tip, holding for a few seconds, then releasing. Seconds later, she repeats that left shoulder clutch.

She is approached by one woman driver (in a Chevy Corsica?) who stops and asks Teri's name. Teri responds, "I don't know". Teri finally enters the car, a move which literally saves her life. Is that just from collapsing on the off-road after her car plunges down an embankment and catches fire? Nope.

One reviewer here says he's getting annoyed by Teri's behavior so far. Very sick people often are annoying.

I'd say the reveal is coming.

Are you in good hands?
marcelfrancehd5 July 2022
I'm surprised no one noticed, when the advanced team member Elizabeth first meets Jack she says "David said I would be in good hands with you". The actor who plays David Palmer, Dennis Haysbert, later does Allstate insurance commercials in which the slogan is "Are you in good hands?" My wife and I can't help but make that joke constantly while watching.

Ugh

Warning: Spoilers
Can 1 family really have this much bad luck? The safe house gets exposed. They get away, only to have the car slide down a cliff??? Teri's character is annoying, just my two cents.

Why the unnecessary drama and coincidences?
nick-botte18 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Worst episode of the season... Just too many coincidences... First, how do two teams get taken out so easily? No checkups? Alright, I could handle this.

Second: why is Keith so stupid? These kids in this season are a bit ridiculous and stupid with their decisions... How can a kid just shake the secret service like it's nothing is beyond me, especially considering the threats against the senator.

Third: a car, used in the escape by Teri & Kim, just happens to be on a ridge? And then Happens to fall down in just two seconds? Like, I understand it could happen, but after everything in this episode, this is a but much, it's really unfortunate for the episode imoz because all the rest is just so good.

What makes a good serie is the level of involvement and belief, and when a serie makes such stupid mistakes, it's really a shame... Also, wtf happens to Teri? She falls down Moments later of the explosion and can't remember anything? Sheesh, this episode is a bit too much filler like for my tasting... It's a shame.

Get rid of Keith
MyEinsamkeit24 November 2022
So 24 TV Series so far has been amazing, every episode is full of action and something to look forward too. But just like every TV series, there's some boring stupid storylines that shows up or just stupid stuff that happens.

First of all, Jack's wife parks her car near a cliff or the edge of the cliff. Really , come on are the writers serious? So she gets out of the car to check to see if the bad guy who is also driving a car has fled the scene and not in the area? SHE GETS OUT OF THE CAR??????????????

Then the vehicle with kim in rolls down the hill hahaha. How in the world did Kim unbuckled her seatbelt and get out of the car that fast with barely any bruises on her?

Anyways, Keith is annoying and i was hoping they killed him off the show. All he does is whine and whine and whine, just someone killed him please. Kinda a slow episode, and stupid. Just skip pass most of the nonsense.
