Does Jack Bauer Ever Catch A Break?
ccthemovieman-114 November 2007
Warning: Spoilers
I really don't know if I needed to put "spoiler alert" on here because the big twist of this episode is revealed with 10 minutes to go but, in a nutshell, Tony supposedly is killed but he really isn't. It was made to look like this "female hostile" (terrorist sympathizer and cold- blooded killer) blew herself up, along with Tony, in a car. Even a dimwit like me figured that was not what it seemed, and Jack Bauer figures it out, too. As usual, nobody else at C.T.U. has a clue.

So, once again, the good guys are one step away from getting Marwan as the hostile is convinced - with a Presidential pardon - to give up his location.

Meanwhile, the Chinese, who are made to look really brutal here, have a similar situation and force a C.T.U. agent to admit our boy Jack headed the operation on the Chinese consulate....so they want his scalp.

Everyone always wants to kill or badmouth Jack. Man, this guy should have a complex by now! Well, he only has one more episode to endure. I'm anxious to see what happens but regret the season is almost over. It's been a fun ride.

The Chinese Are Taking All the Fun Out of It
Hitchcoc29 January 2019
Great episode. Mostly, this is about the apprehension of Mandy, that psychotic woman, who is holding Tony hostage. There are moves and countermoves. Jack's perceptions are nonpareil. The sad thing is that the Chinese have Bern and are interrogating him, and trying to get him to give up Jack. What we can't forget for now, is that that missile has been airborne for a couple hours. It could be quite the final episode, and probably a lead in to next season.

RIP Jos

Warning: Spoilers
Jos' impact on the 24 series is unmeasurable. How does one man in one scene captivate the absurd, disturbing world of 24? The answer is Jos. Jos is the perfect example of how the most average person would last in the 24 world. For one minute, Jos' existed as someone who didn't know why they were woken up at the middle of night. Jos came into the room because his roommate had called him. What transpired next perfectly eclipses 24. An undercover terrorist that had probably met the people in the apartment once comes into the apartment at 5AM. Who is up at 5am? Apparently two other housemates. The one calling Jos, why is she up? No one knows. Why is the second roommate up? I don't know. But what i do know is that 24 is absolutely absurd and these people had to be up to make this scene work. In essence, Jos is the perfect example of why 24 is absurd and great.
