- Bill Buchanan: [while visiting him in CTU medical] how you feeling?
- Tony Almeida: They told me they took Michelle to Cedars?
- Bill Buchanan: Yes, they couldn't treat her here
- Tony Almeida: Why? How badly was she hurt?
- Tony Almeida: [after Bill gives him a worried look] is she going to be ok?
- Bill Buchanan: As far as I know, yes
- Tony Almeida: What the hell is going on here? They tried to kill President Palmer, they tried to kill Michelle and me
- Bill Buchanan: David Palmer was the primary target: they killed him because he was going to expose someone inside Logan's Administration to set up Jack to take the fall
- Tony Almeida: Did they get Jack?
- Bill Buchanan: No, he's alive. His working with us here on a provisional basis
- Tony Almeida: I need to talk to Jack
- Bill Buchanan: You need to get some rest
- Tony Almeida: I don't need to rest, I need to talk to Jack now
- Bill Buchanan: Alright, I'll tell him
- Tony Almeida: Thanks, could you do me a favor? Could you get a message to Michelle? Tell her I'm ok
- Bill Buchanan: I will: we need you to get better
- Mike Novick: Mrs. Logan and the Suvarovs have been treated: the chopper's picking them up now
- President Charles Logan: What do I say to my wife?
- Mike Novick: She put you in an impossible situation
- President Charles Logan: It's my job to handle impossible situations, I failed and not for the first time. I should've never given in. I should've ordered back the motorcade
- Mike Novick: Sir, with all due respect: you don't have time for self incrimination here. The terrorist attacked failed, we have to assume they're going to make good on their threat to use the Sentox nerve gas on American soil
- President Charles Logan: Has CTU made any progress? Or are they waiting for "the other shoe to drop"?
- Mike Novick: Their working on leads and working the scene where the motorcade was ambushed
- Bill Buchanan: [Over the speakerphone as Chloe sits next to him] what'd you find at Omicron?
- Jack Bauer: Christopher Henderson was responsible for the terrorists to gain control of the Sentox: he just tried to kill me by blowing up the bunker the Sentox was developed in. I managed to survive but unfortunately the servers that controlled the data were destroyed and Henderson managed to escape. Chloe are you there?
- Chloe O'Brian: Go ahead
- Jack Bauer: Can you hack into Henderson's home office computer?
- Chloe O'Brian: I already did it, Henderson's home work station is clean. He "wiped" his hard drive five minutes ago, there's still an active socket
- Jack Bauer: What's that mean?
- Chloe O'Brian: It means he was exchanging data with an offsite link
- Jack Bauer: Can you locate it?
- Chloe O'Brian: Yeah, the registry listing is 5714 Terrawood Drive, Toluca Lake
- Jack Bauer: Terrawood Drive? That's his home address
- Bill Buchanan: I'll send in a Tact team
- Bill Buchanan: No, Bill, I need to go in alone
- Bill Buchanan: Why?
- Jack Bauer: Henderson's good, he'll be able to detect a tact team moving in
- Bill Buchanan: How do you want to "play" this?
- Bill Buchanan: He left me for dead, I'm the last he'd expect to see, I should be able to walk up to his front door
- Bill Buchanan: Alright, I want you in constant contact with CTU: Henderson is our primary link to finding this nerve gas
- Jack Bauer: [Before hanging up] I know, I'll get back to you
- President Yuri Suvarov: [Talking privately, referring to the attack on the Russian motorcade] we both know who's responsible for this
- President Charles Logan: We believe it was the same group that attacked Ontario Airport morning but we thought they were all killed in the siege
- President Yuri Suvarov: Obviously you were wrong
- President Charles Logan: The situation is much more serious than you know: these terrorists have possession of a military grade nerve agent and have threatened to use it against the civilian population in Los Angeles
- President Yuri Suvarov: How long have you known about this?
- President Charles Logan: We just found out about it but given this change in circumstances, I'm asking you to honor the terms of our treaty: allow my intelligence and law enforcement agencies to assess whatever intelligence your security people have on these separatists
- President Yuri Suvarov: You will have all that
- President Charles Logan: Thank you
- President Yuri Suvarov: I hope you won't find this offensive but there's something that's been troubling me
- President Charles Logan: What is it?
- President Yuri Suvarov: Mrs. Logan, her behavior, she has not been herself
- President Charles Logan: I'm sure she was very upset on what just happened
- President Yuri Suvarov: Yes, I imagine she would be but I noticed this before the attack: from the moment she entered the car with Anya and me
- President Charles Logan: The truth is that my wife has been under a doctor's care for quite a while now. She suffers from depression and anxiety. It's been very difficult for both of us
- President Yuri Suvarov: I'm sorry to hear that
- President Charles Logan: Thank you
- Bill Buchanan: [after entering an interrogation room] the guard said you wanted to see me?
- Lynn McGill: How long are you going to keep me here?
- Bill Buchanan: You're not going back out there anytime today: the District Marshall is preparing your case
- Lynn McGill: I need to ask you for a favor, I know I don't deserve it. I was unfair to you earlier
- Bill Buchanan: What is it?
- Lynn McGill: I need to make a phone call
- Bill Buchanan: If you think you're going to get out of this with a few phone calls, you're mistaken. I won't let that happen
- Lynn McGill: It's not that, I swear. I'll give you the number and you can clear it yourself
- Bill Buchanan: What's this about?
- Lynn McGill: My sister, I need to talk to her about a personal matter
- Bill Buchanan: It can't wait a few hours?
- Lynn McGill: No, it can't. Please, she's in a little trouble and I'm the only one who can help her
- Martha Logan: [after Aaron knocks on her door] yes?
- Aaron Pierce: You wanted to see me?
- Martha Logan: Oh yes, come in. I really didn't get a chance to say thank you before: you saved my life. I know you'll just say it was all just in the line of duty
- Aaron Pierce: You're welcome
- Martha Logan: This country is lucky to have men like you. I'm lucky
- Martha Logan: [Before holding his hand] I hope you'll allow me to say that
- Mike Novick: [while entering the room without Aaron and Martha noticing and walking towards them] Mrs. Logan, would you excuse us Aaron?
- Martha Logan: [after Aaron leaves] what is it?
- Mike Novick: The President's been trying to reach you
- Martha Logan: I know, I don't want to see him
- Mike Novick: Would you like me to convey that to the President?
- Martha Logan: You can "convey" whatever you want
- Jack Bauer: [Over the speakerphone as he uses Christopher's computer while Miriam stands nearby] Chloe, have you found anything yet?
- Chloe O'Brian: The only thing on Henderson's hard drive is domestic stuff: bill paying programs, downloaded music
- Jack Bauer: He isn't trading music files with his office, there's something else, find it
- Chloe O'Brian: I'm doing the best I can
- Miriam Henderson: Face it Jack, Christopher is innocent. He was innocent when you forced him out of CTU and his innocent now
- Jack Bauer: Maybe you didn't hear me earlier? He tried to kill me
- Miriam Henderson: If he did, he was defending himself
- Jack Bauer: No, he blew up the server room at Omicron while I was still inside. He was destroying evidence that would've implicated him in this conspiracy
- Miriam Henderson: [Shakes her head] this is so familiar, you accusing him of being a criminal. Why do you hate him so much? I want you to know something: Chris never hated you, even after what you did to him. When he thought you were dead, he looked in on Kim, he cared about your daughter, just like he cared about you, we both did, and you know that
- Chloe O'Brian: I found something
- Jack Bauer: What is it?
- Chloe O'Brian: It's a shadow drive: it was partitioned from the primary hard drive
- Jack Bauer: What's on the shadow drive?
- Chloe O'Brian: A backup log, it contains data points for every satellite phone call Henderson made in the last year
- Jack Bauer: Can you cross reference those numbers with the telephone numbers the terrorists used earlier this morning?
- Chloe O'Brian: I got into the log but the phone lists are password protected
- Jack Bauer: Hold on
- Jack Bauer: [to Miriam] Christopher had a secret file on his computer: there's a list of numbers
- Miriam Henderson: And that implicates him?
- Jack Bauer: We need access to that list. Do you know the password?
- Miriam Henderson: No, I don't
- Jack Bauer: We believe there's going to be another attack within thirty minutes. Thousands of lives are at stake, please, if you know that password I need it now
- Miriam Henderson: I can't help you
- Jack Bauer: Chloe, you're going to have to try to hack into it
- Chloe O'Brian: I'll see what I can do
- Jack Bauer: Hello Miriam
- Miriam Henderson: [Surprised to see him] my God, we thought you were dead
- Jack Bauer: [Referring to Christopher] where is he?
- Miriam Henderson: [Noticing his carrying a gun] what're you doing?
- Jack Bauer: Where is Christopher?
- Miriam Henderson: His still at work
- Jack Bauer: Did he call you?
- Miriam Henderson: You're scaring me
- Jack Bauer: [Raises his voice] in the last hour, has he called you?
- Miriam Henderson: No, tell me what the hell is going on?
- Jack Bauer: I need to use his computer
- Miriam Henderson: What're you doing?
- Jack Bauer: [Yells, points his gun at her] where is his computer?
- Miriam Henderson: I'm not going to tell you anything until you tell me what is going on?
- Jack Bauer: Christopher developed a chemical weapon system call Sentox VX nerve gas at Omicron: he enabled terrorists to gain control of it. Now it's being used against civilian targets in Los Angeles, so where is his computer?
- Jack Bauer: [after she's silent] I am telling you the truth, we have proof he brokered the deal
- Miriam Henderson: That's impossible
- Jack Bauer: Less than an hour ago, he tried to kill me
- Jack Bauer: [after she glances at their computer] move towards the living room, keep walking towards the den, and take a seat on the couch
- Miriam Henderson: Why don't we just call him? I'm sure there's an explanation
- Jack Bauer: Take a seat
- Miriam Henderson: You don't need a gun: you're not going to shoot me
- Jack Bauer: [after un-cocking his gun, puts it in his bag, and sitting in front Christopher's computer, over the speakerphone as Miriam sits nearby] Chloe, it's Jack, I need access to Henderson's hard drive. I need you to talk me through it
- Audrey Raines: [Over the speakerphone as Bill stands nearby] DOD just concluded a briefing with Russian intelligence, we were given a name: Vladimir Bierko. He made billions in the post soviet economy, in weapons and oil, he bankrolled several underground radical publications promoting the separatist cause but it's believed his more than just a sympathizer
- President Charles Logan: The Russians thinks his financing these attacks?
- Audrey Raines: They think his directing these attacks himself
- President Charles Logan: Based on what?
- Audrey Raines: A number of communications that were intercepted by the Russian Security Force supported by the fact that Bierko vanished from Russia three months ago
- Bill Buchanan: We posted Bierko's profile to the interagency servers: Homeland Security has issued an emergency brief to all local law enforcement
- President Charles Logan: Do you think there's any hope of finding him before the attack on Tyler Memorial Hospital?
- Bill Buchanan: The most promising lead is a man named Christopher Henderson. Unfortunately, he escaped: Jack Bauer believes there may be files on his computer that could lead us to Bierko. His trying to acquire those files now Sir
- President Charles Logan: Let's hope he succeeds, the country's already suffered three devastating attacks today. We need to stop this madman
