Perhaps not the most realistic of episodes, but still a nice one, with some good moments overall.

Most ridiculous episode ever seen

This episode was so improbable it was ridiculous. It was as though the writers took every thing that would never happen and wrote a show in which they did. Where do I begin? 1.) A science teacher is working two jobs and living in a place that looks like an abandoned building so she can pay her ex boyfriends tax bill to the IRS. They have attached her wages. She's been calmly doing this for years. 2.) The IRS agent solely seems to be in control of her life although of course she could've just called her congressperson. It is up to one individual that this is happening to her. 3.) Rev Camden comes to the rescue and clears up in a couple of days her messed up life. He does this with the help of a doctor who uses vague terminology like 'heart surgery" to scare the IRS agent into thinking he is going to die. The guy has heartburn. What doctor would lie to a patient and tell them they will need heart surgery instead of telling them they had heartburn? The IRS agent who when meeting the woman apologizes as though he personally was out to get her (not the IRS) says, "No hard feelings" and she smiles. I was going to puke right there. Very unrealistic. As if that storyline wasn't out in fantasy land there were others. Simon orders merchandise with a credit card issued to Happy. It's all automated and the phone hangs up without getting an address or shipping method. Okay?! When a human is finally on the line with both Simon and later his mother, she is portrayed as the ultimate bimbo which is really derogatory to the people who actually are stuck doing this for a living. She says things like, "That's tough" and hangs up on them. The saleswoman who wouldn't take the sweater back had a point about the no receipt but so in that one it was Annie and Lucy who looked stupid. That was in 1996. Today a $12.00 sweater would only be found at Walmart and they will give a store credit. I spent the whole episode shaking my head. LAME.
