At the end of the story, Friar Tuck is asked to marry a young couple who announce their intention to spend their 'honey month' in Sherwood Forest. The story is set during the reign of Richard the Lionheart (i.e. pre-1199) yet the term 'honey month' or 'honeymoon' did not exist until hundreds of years after that time. OED suggests the first recorded usage was in 1596.
