In this episode, which takes place at a movie studio, the director, Mr. Carr, is being played by Stephen Carr, the brother of real life director Thomas Carr, who directed this episode. Steve Carr served as dialogue director for Season One and appeared uncredited in much of Season One, as well as served as the man pointing to Superman in the sky in the classic opening credits of Seasons One and Two.
Although her name is listed in the end credits, 'Phyllis Coates' does not actually appear in this episode.
When Clark Kent and Inspector Henderson leave for Hollywood, the next shot is of an unidentified aircraft (seen from the underside) taking off. The shot then dissolves to a United Airlines plane in flight and dissolves again to a Pan American World Airways (PAA) plane. The plane shown landed in the airport is also a PAA plane.
When Ollie is driving Inspector Henderson and Clark Kent through the studio (aprox 6 minute mark) their vehicle passes the building used as the Sheriffs Office on the Andy Griffith's Show. (corner building on the left with the large columns)
