Part 3 isn't much better

Mike and Gloria try to get Archie and Edith back together.

There are some attempts at humor in this part 3 of the depressing break up of Archie and Edith, it shows Edith at the Sunshine home with a crotchety old man and later Archie shows up at Mike and Gloria's house but refuses to talk to Edith. They finally get together for some mawkish moments to finally end this low level episode, sad to see the quality of this once great series to go down so much.

He may as well have had the whole enchilada because that is what he ends up paying for...

This is the finale of a howler 3 episode disaster. Archie's whole family life is breaking-up and falling apart over a lousy 10 minute visit to a waitress's apartment. Everyone is mad at him and it looks like Edith is about to leave him over what was actually an illicit,15 second,closed-mouth kiss. For all the hell he is catching over this illicit kiss,he may as well tell Edith to take a hike and start seeing the waitress for awhile. The whole 3 episode series is just awful. It is not realistic,it is not believable,and it drags on far,far too long. This plot idea might have worked if it were only 1 episode but stretched across 3 episodes it is ridiculous in a bad way. I hated it.
