- Various graphic references to suicide and suicidal ideation, including an attempt; Master Shake comes at HTH with a blowtorch and threatens to burn him. In response, he goes out to the front yard, soaks himself in gasoline, and eggs him on to do it. "Well shoot, I was just gonna blow your jaw off with a firecracker or something..."
- Happy Time Harry comments on cutting himself; "You know, sometimes I like to take this knife and just cut myself, hehehe... see how hard I can do it before I just, pass out man."
- Shake jumps off a cliff thinking that it will make him immortal; he's later seen bandaged in a wheelchair with glass eyes. He catches fire and his eyes comically roll off.

- Heavy alcoholism, played for comedy; Happy Time Harry vomits a copious amount and lays unconscious in his own vomit. People mention that he reeks of liquor, and Harry starts demanding Tequila. This is to the point where he mentions having a dialysis machine, and that he had to have part of his liver removed (He asks for a drink anyway).
