Sex & Nudity

  • One mildly suggestive comment: "Mommy moved to the city with Mommy's friend Jerry!"

Violence & Gore

  • Brief bloody violence; Steve's head is bitten off by Dr. Weird and ejects a stream of blood as his body falls down. Fairly unrealistic and seen from a distance.
  • References to a cow being force-fed food to the point of death. Said cow is seen being deep-fried; it's udder explodes and cheese pours out of it's exploded udder. A bit of blood is also seen on the udder itself.
  • Carl repeatedly gets his skin ripped off, with loud screams: We don't see any blood or gore when they pull it off but a smidge of blood is seen on the skin afterwards. His severed stomach skin is also seen, no blood is visible. He mentions that he's "Losing a lot of blood" and is "Making a pond", though we don't see anything.

Profanity

  • Infrequent mild language: 5 uses of "Hell" and 1 use of "Mother" with a pause afterwards (as in 'motherfucker').

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Infrequent, implicit drug references: Someone says "What are you smoking, cause I ain't smoking jack!". "You want to trip? I bring it to 'ya" is heard in the theme song.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Shake pretends that Frylock is his (abusive) father in order to appear underage and get out of jail: "Daddy! Daddy, you're back from your business trip! And you're sober! Mommy moved to the city with mommy's friend Jerry! And he tried to hit me, daddy! Not like you do, in an extra mean way!"
  • Rather painful scenes of Carl being tortured.
