Six seasons into this enjoyable crime series set in Jersey and it still produces excellent episodes like this. Jim's friend Charlie is amongst others being targeted for money because of past misdemeanours. To get Jim off the case he receives a box of chocolates whilst interviewing a patient in hospital. Little known to Jim these chocs are laced with cannabis, and being an ex alcoholic eating the whole box leads him to go back on the bottle. Suspended and off the case, job done so you would think. But Jim's the tenacious type and with the help of his colleagues and Charlie of course, the villains are caught. Great episode with all the hallmarks of a brilliant Bergerac story.
