Wow, dating has changed so much since these days, you think, nowadays you can download an app, and meet someone almost immediately, the whole rigmarole of placing an add in a newspaper must have been quite a task.
A good one, not especially dramatic or memorable, but it's an episode that holds up well, it certainly gives us an insight into the world of dating back in the late 1990's.
Well acted, with a good cast and some solid production values. The focus is very much on the story, not too much happening among The Sun Hill team.
Out of interest what has happened to the proposed new spin off?
What didn't work, DS Graham, he really was an oaf, like a cop from 1976, even in 1998 he'd have been deemed a chauvinistic idiot, fortunately this character wouldn't return.
Overall, pretty good, it does have an interesting conclusion.
7/10.
