Death of a Cracksman
Prismark1020 January 2021
According to Sergeant Cryer, Alfie Mullins is a safe cracker of the old school. He also has his share of bad luck.

He always clears up after his jobs. A MO that always gets him nicked.

At court he pleads guilty, never grasses his crew. In return he gets stiffed by his cohorts who never give Alfie his share.

While on short term release from jail. Alfie is attacked as he makes his way back to prison.

A group of young robbers have stolen a safe and they need Alfie to break into it. One of the youth's end up attacking Alfie and he ends up dead.

Galloway thinks that it might be some crook who thinks that Alfie had a lot of money stashed. Sergeant Cryer thinks otherwise.

This could had been a much better episode if the young robbers could act better. Although one of them is now an accomplished actor.

On the other hand Pam Ferris and Jim Carter have small roles.
