The old pals act?
An old friend of Jim Carver's, DC Travis is accused of exposing himself to a young girl, it turns out he's the Detective that put her father away, Carver is convinced the mother has pressured her into accusing him.
It's good, it's a very good episode, the story is an original one, it seems so obvious who's telling the truth, and who's lying, but all isn't perhaps as it seems.
It's a good one for Jim Carver, he's put in an almost impossible situation. Wingett is great here.
It works so well because of the acting of Kevin Doyle, for a one of character, he makes an impact, he's realistic, he's sincere.
Louise Delamere looks so incredibly different here, compare her with her role in Poirot a few years later, where she looks glamorous and radiant.
Good episode, 8/10.
