- Julian Harper, a famous movie star, is found dead in his hotel suite after a wild night of partying and sex. Although his room has many traces of drugs and alcohol, his tox report shows that he couldn't have died from an overdose. He suffocated to death, yet his neck shows no signs of strangulation. Another case involves the death of three people, two Laotians and a taxi driver. One of the Laotians, as well as the unlucky cabbie, died from gunshot wounds. The other man, found in his car, died from excessive blood loss. This case leads the CSIs to a laundry facility that employs many South East Asians.—Ploy P.
- Grissom and Sara are investigating the death of a taxi driver with a shot in the neck and two shots on the passenger door, while Catherine and Capt. Brass are in the nearby crime scene of a dead Asian with six shots. After reading the taxi's dispatch log, Grissom realizes that the cases are entwined and he joins Catherine investigation. They arrest the shooter Keo Vipraxay in the hotel room, who confesses that he killed Samay Thao with a shotgun. Soon they find that the cartridge holds nine pellets, and the cab driver was accidentally hit by Keo. When Dr. Robbins shows the body of Noy Vipraxay, who died in a car collision, to Catherine, she concludes that the case is a triple homicide. Meanwhile, Greg, Nick, Warrick and Det.
