Poor Lonely. He thought he could make some easy money on the side by driving his cab for hire.
Only his fare becomes a victim of a gangland execution. Lonely is the cab driver wanted by the police for questioning.
The shooters also give a stark warning to Lonely to keep his mouth shut and damage his cab.
Callan is draw in, mainly as he has to foot the bill to repair the damage.
Callan is not happy that Lonely has messed up again. Hunter would like to shut Lonely up for good and sends Meres to investigate.
Callan comes face to face with the gangster Abbott who ordered the hit. His goons are no match for Callan. Abbott would have been better off to heed Callan's warning.
The episode ends with Callan and Meres acting that they just came back from a wild jolly where they got to let their hair down a bit.
This episode again highlights the passive/aggressive Callan and Lonely relationship.
I did chuckle when Abbott disbelievingly discovers that Callan works for the Social Security department.
