Once again, the writers are going to put a wig, fake beard, and dark glasses on a character, and he won't be recognizable without that disguise by people who are close to him?
Granted, Weller Dane (actor Leslie Nielsen), posing as Dave Baylor, is hiding behind a fence in one scene, and in another scene he is sitting in a dark corner telling Nancy Baylor "Don't turn around!". But what about the attendant at the gym, talking face to face with Weller Dane, saying, "Another detective was here yesterday, a guy with long hair and a beard..." and he doesn't recognize that Weller Dane is the same guy? Not likely.
Other Cannon shows that used the disguise ploy include "Where's Jennifer" and "The House of Cards". It didn't work in those shows, it doesn't work here. An otherwise good story, but I ding it 3 stars for the wig and the beard and rate it a 7.
