The Pointer Sisters: Strictly for the Birds/Fun in a Drugstore/The Cruise
The Carol Burnett Show
The actress she speaks to at the end, Bonnie Evans, is coiffed in the wildly popular "Farrah do"---Farrah Fawcett's "winged" hairstyle in Charlie's Angels---however, whereas Farrah's hair looked natural and was bouncy and carefree, Leopard Lady's do is stiff and "cardboard cut-out style", due to being heavily hair-sprayed to keep the "wings" in place. Sadly, the do (also called "feathered") didn't suit women with fine, limp nor stick-straight hair, but required natural volume and bounce to look good on them.
The Cruise finds Carol Burnett transforming from frump into her glamorous alter-ego, during an on-board reverie where she sports the same a turquoise and cerulean ensemble---but styled differently.
In "The Cruise" sketch, when Harvey Korman calls Carol Burnett something that sounds like "Tondoleo" (ton-doh-leh-oh), it is a reference to White Cargo (1942) and Hedy Lamarr's exotic character in it, apparently spelled Tondelayo (ton-day-lah-yo), and also the name of different vessels in it.
