Albania was not an Axis power, it was an occupied country. Even if there were any collaborators, they would be wearing German uniforms with some sort of "Albania" sleeve cuff, not a pre-war Albanian uniform.
When Maj, Thorne,(dressed as a German Maj.)and a German soldier, are escorting Hanley, Thorne karate chops the soldier unconscious. Except for the fact that he strikes the German on the bicep area this would not knock anyone out.
When Lt. Hanley walks up to the old mill building to change his uniform after having swum in the river, the back of his uniform leg has a large dry patch. Furthermore, despite the fact that his Albanian uniform was packed into a small oilskin bag, it emerges looking like it has been freshly pressed.
