A homeless man thanks Larry for the Chicken l'Orange that Larry doesn't give to him until AAMCO (episode 1.7) which is three episode later. Based on the plots of these two episodes as well as the ones in between, they are clearly meant to be sequential.
When Larry is watching the game, the Jets are inside Viking territory. They run a play that gets them a first down somewhere inside the 30. When Cheryl is talking to him shortly after, he looks at the TV and they are suddenly near their own goal line on the other side of the field.
During the second scene, Cheryl is turning the magazine's pages from left to right.
Larry is watching an NFL game between the New York Jets and the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings are wearing their Home uniforms. As of the air date of this episode, the Jets and Vikings had only played six times, and only three of those were in Minnesota (1975, 1982, and 1994). The next time wouldn't be until 2006. Vinny Testaverde throws a pass to Curtis Martin. Testaverde and Martin were Jets teammates from 1998-2003 and again in 2005, so they would never have played for the Jets against the Vikings in Minnesota.
