- George is saddled with a tedious collating task and Daisy recruits her and Mason to make money from her reap. Roxy grieves her own death.
- Daisy's mark, a country club matron, decides she has to make sure her rather weinie son takes over the company, and doesn't want to move on until things are taken care of.
George is faced with the fact that she isn't earning enough to support herself at Happy Time working only 25 hours, especially now she qualifies (and must pay for) health benefits.
Daisy introduces Mary Kate (the matron) to George, hoping to cash in somehow or another.
Roxie is down in the dumps over the anniversary of her death at the hands of a competitor at dance class when Roxie invented leg warmers but someone else wanted the profits, and killed her with one of her own socks.
