This episode unites the two Mrs. Drummonds from "Different Strokes" with Mary Ann Mobley joining her predecessor, Dixie Carter, here playing the director of a tour of old southern civil war homes whom Julia signs up for. The problem is that Mobley doesn't believe in representing the truth and exploits the south for stereotypical untruths that mock history. She also dresses the women up in wild outfits, showing her own racism with Anthony, leading Julia to build up to explosion. It questions why such tours are necessary, especially since Julia's home and business was built long after the war. It's hysterically funny how Anthony reacts to her and how Mobley keeps swatting at Suzanne to get her off the couch. The B plot deals with Mary Jo and a male friend from high school who wants to marry her out of friendship, not love, because he adores her children, helping Mary Jo deal with issues with Quint. A good start to a controversial season, Delta Burke's last. Another highlight is Charlene become obsessed with Yiddish slang and Mary Jo's imitation of Mobley asking her and Julia to "skeedaddle and hippity hop". Julia's rant at the end is one of her finest.
