Farewell My Beloved Martha Huber!
arturo_smallcharm26 September 2006
Warning: Spoilers
What an amazing episode, here we learn that Paul Young it's a real assassin, his family secret was discover by Martha (Christine Estabrook) which was blackmailing Mary Alice Young, he finally found out that Martha was the guilty about Mary Alice's suicide, and obviously he took revenge, at the end of the episode Paul was chatting with Martha, and all of the sudden, he asked why she was blackmailing his wife, Martha did not deny it, Paul went upset, as he grabbed a blender glass to hit her in the head, followed by a little struggle and finally was killed. To get rid of the body, Paul buried her in a park, which was later discovered by a dog.

I don't get, after he killed her, the housewives did not notice it at all, until Martha's sister, Felicia Tilman arrived to the neighborhood and solved the cold case.

At the end of the season, the housewives learned that Paul killed her. I was expecting the housewives to cry, but they didn't care a radish about Martha.

Later some archive footage from Martha was used, telling more secrets about the Youngs.

LONG LIVE MARTHA HUBER (which I love since TV-series Nikki)

Best episode so far

Warning: Spoilers
A lot happens in this episode! It presents itself like a season finale, it was just perfect all around and rewarded me for sticking with the previous 7 episodes throughout its charm and laughs and non-stop entertainment, this 8th episode proved this series had to be Emmy worthy!

This whole episode felt like it was on showtime and would not be something on ABC today, not this quality. Terri Fletcher is amazing as a natural beauty and innocent always unlucky and role reversal with her daughter who talks to her like shes her mother. But then theres the brilliant Lennie who is so human and shows us all the flaws we all have. I'm sure everyone can identify with her in many ways.

I'm a straight Male and I feel how hard it must be to have kids and be a mother. It's a job of itself. The moment they talked on the field and she claimed she was a terrible mother (shes not) her good friends reminded her how hard it was for them and she found it a relief and asked why didnt you ever tell me then. I found it a very humanizing moment that is rare in TV today to show and present to viewers.

Best quote "my vagina isnt a regotiation" or the bell rings and Lennie is under the cover "Go to hell" ring ring ring "Go to hell , go to hell, go to hell!"

We found out that the evil wench that tried bribing Susan over the house burning down wrote the note to Mary Ellis (the narrator and mother and wife that killed herself) so her husband cancels the hit he paid 5,000 for Britta since he learned the truth.

He went to her house and approached her and she acted like a callous well, wench. Jeff killed her but after she said especially what she did to that baby, which by this point we know she had a baby blanket with the name Dana on it.

The ending of the episode made it obvious that Lennie might have her daughter or kid. It will be interesting to see if I'm right or I misread it.

Also, finally Susan and Mike delfino (a name when you have to say the first and last name together) fireworks came to a peak and they slept together after a romantic moment when she ans see red the door.

I cant pin Mike down exactly. I have a feeling Kendra is Mary Ellis sister and he works for her father, or not. Or what hes looking into specifically and why he has so much money. Is he getting paid that much money to just live there, no. So what is it? Out of the two biggest mysterys this season and third possible I intriguing piece being Gabrillie sleeps with the lawn dude, I find I dont feel impatient to learn anyone because the show is so filled with so much entertainment and drama. Especially comedy!

This show is gold I feel like I stumbled upon a gem and I have like 170 episodes!!

I love this episode and theres the whole thing about the son of Rex hit and run.

Perfect 10/10

One of the best episodes of the entire series

Warning: Spoilers
This episode documents Lynette's addiction coming to a head. The visions she has about Mary Alice and fantasy about ending her life are so real and are a necessary narrative for the pressure of SAHM. Susan and Bree confessing their troubles with motherhood to Lynette never fails to make me emotional. Later in the episode, the editing juxtaposition of Susan/Mike with Paul/Martha is excellent. Not to mention, Susan and Mike finally getting together and Martha getting what's coming to her are always welcome plot developments, haha.

Awesome episode! Bree and Gaby's plotlines are continued from climaxes in earlier episodes.
