Think Warm Thoughts (#4.11)

Warning: Spoilers
I am glad they went on with the rapist of old women story. It can be pretty interesting. This poor woman today, they made an awesome scene with her and Carol at the end of today's episode. Will be in interesting how it will get resolved, although we will probably not find anything out as this is not a detective show.

While the rest of the stories were good ideas as well, I can't say I was too caught into any of them too much. I guess there will be more of Dr. Anspaugh's son. Jeanie taking care of him was pretty well done today.

The old drunk homeless story of Carter's wasn't bad either I am still just amazed how they let random people walk into operation room.

Typical filler episode

Warning: Spoilers
Typical filler episode. Disorganized and inconsequential. Don Anspaugh's brat represents the particularly tired and cartoonish trope of the very privileged wannabe tough kid. Lacking communication skills or the ability to wash his own hair, the brat seems to expose Don Anspaugh's lack of parenting.

So boring

This episode is one that can be skipped. It just drones on and on. In fact, it seemed to drag on for so long that I started to wonder if it was a double episode special that ran for double time.

Nothing particularly notable or consequential happens throughout its whole length, until finally (and mercifully) the credits start to roll.

The recent influx of new characters hasn't helped the series at all... the horrible Ginger English woman (with the plum in her mouth, the short surgeon (with the little man syndrome), the corporate management bore. Finally that bearded insidious lawyer is also an unwelcome addition.

I hope that the series picks up again, soon.
