Could been better...

Warning: Spoilers
Ugggghhhh. Felicity Huffman's character was awful. I know she was supposed to be...but like Mercedes Ruehl, and Daphne's mother...and I'm sure there are others as well...you risk by having an unlikable character, the audience not liking the episode bc of the character. And Huffman is that. I don't want to watch episodes with her in it.

I'm fine with the contrived reason to get Frasier to another coffee shop.

HA! And Longinus from Modern Family is Steve at the other shop...Kevin Daniels. Man...he has been around a long time. Never knew it was him back in the day, but he seems to pop up everywhere.

And I like the lady who played the owner of Nervosa, Amy Hill. She's fun whenever she pops up. She was in 50 first dates. Not sure if she was in other Adam Sandler films...or if it just feels like she is.

Good lord. Matt Besser...Elvis Costello...John Hannah...Alex Borstein. Lot of people of note in this episode.

An enjoyable episode. A fun journey that made me laugh throughout. Kelsey's physical humor just makes me laugh. I do wish that Frasier had visited more coffee shops instead of devoting any time to the Felicity storyline. That actually makes me rate this a 6 instead of a 7.

One of the best episodes!

Warning: Spoilers
Having Elvis Costello, John Hannah and Felicity Huffman in the same show? Priceless. One of the best parts of Frasier is that so many great celebrities guest starred, like Costello. So much fun! Love him! And what a good sport. Kelsey Grammer and David Hyde Pierce with some of their funniest lines. And for funny scenes: That moment when Niles is playing the egg and Frasier walks in is one of the funniest. This episode from near the end of the 10th season demonstrates that Frasier's writers never "jumped the shark".l and why David Hyde Pierce was nominated and won so many Emmys. Never gets stale. Classic screwball comedy writing and acting from start to finish.

Farewell, Nervosa
studioAT29 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Felicity Huffman returns - oh joy.

I get what they were trying to do with her character of Julia, but a) we've seen that type of woman brought in to potentially be a love interest for Frasier before, and b) they made her so tough and annoying at the start that any attempts (and they do try here) to soften her come across as false.

Despite the annoying Julia's involvement, this is a decent episode of the show, and offers some nice moments.

By the lower standards that 'Frasier' operates from Series eight onwards this is a decent affair, and is one that I probably wouldn't skip if I were to go back through the show again.

One of the worst episodes

Elvis Costello's performance offended my ears. I know there are many unrealistic scenarios in shows, but a cafe owner choosing such an annoying performer in their tiny cafe... nope.

Much Ado About Nothing
Hitchcoc4 November 2019
Frasier decides to leave Cafe Nervosa when a folk singer performs during the days he and Niles are there. He goes about trying to find a place but nothing has the friendly confines. Elvis Costello is the folk singer and his lyrics and his voice are abrasive as can be. Niles has a funny moment when he is given a shaker egg to play along with Costello.
