The show spent some money in this sweeps month episode that has Max discover a secret KAOS plot by Schnell and Petroff (KAOS new #1 and #2 killers according to the new Spy ratings book--a funny in joke on TV ratings)to kill some top NASA scientists. Before Max can report all the details to the Chief, Max gets in a car wreck trying to escape KAOS and is hospitalized. A KAOS doctor doesn't have time to kill him so he slips Max an amnesia pill so he won't remember the details of the plot. Adams is pretty funny as a amnesiac Smart. He thinks 99 is giving him the keys to her apartment at one point and come on to her. Instead they are the keys to a new car CONTROL has built for him with new top secret gadgets inside. The scene in which the Chief demonstrates the car's secrets is a nice parody of the same scene with the Aston-Martin in "Goldfinger". The show spends some money doing some outside shooting as Max and 99 get in a car chase around the lot (in Max's Sunbeam Tiger) and he uses the oil slick, smoke and new ejector seat. A fun episode that concludes with Adams breaking the fourth wall and delivering the last line directly to camera.
