In the beginning of the episode, Lane stops at the market on Wednesday. Dean was not there. The next day, Thursday, Rory stops at the market clearly stating it was not Wednesday. She runs away the same day (Thursday). Rory sleeps over Emily and Richard's house. The next day must be Friday, the day of the usual dinner. But, when Lorelai comes to pick Rory up, she states that she would see them tomorrow for dinner.
When Lorelai comes to school for parent's day, Rory's first class of the day is English with Mr. Medina. Now, when Rory is held after class by Mr. Medina, she says she is going to miss her bus home, suggesting it is her last class of the day. This is the same school year, just a few months apart, her schedule shouldn't have changed.
In Luke's Diner, when Lorelai is telling Luke about the new suit, one of the waiters walks out behind her. After briefly cutting to Luke, the scene cuts back to Lorelai, and the waiter walks out again.
After Paris knocks the book off her desk to startle Rory, it cuts back to Paris and you see the book on the desk again. But after the bell rings, you can see Paris bending over to pick it up.
When Lorelai is on the phone with Lane's mother trying to find Rory, you can see Sookie outside the front door as she waits for her cue to come in.
At around the 12:30 mark, Lorelai suggests to Rory that they get Indian food for dinner as a comfortable plan to wrap up the day, but in There's the Rub (2002), Lorelai states that she passionately hates Indian food so much that she wants to burn the house down just to get rid of the smell.
When Rory arrives at her grandparents, Richard asks if she wants a cocktail, a boom mic hovers up and down during that scene.
