What is Lorelai doing?!

Lorelai acts like a big baby in this episode. She shows no maturity whatsoever. Rory has to be "the mother" in most of these scenes until she decides to deviled egg Jess' car. Why is Lorelai joining in? I don't feel any sympathy for them in this episode.

The best thing about this episode is The Town Loner protest. We have no idea what he is actually protesting, but it shows how kooky Stars Hollow is.

Jealousy ~ Green is the new Pink

Green with envy, Lorelai has to make Sherry wrong.

Despite the fact that Sherry is sincere and genuine and full of good will, Lorelai disparages Sherry to Rory (trying for confirmation bias) then messing up her organized bathroom to boot. This childish behavior flaw is disappointing to her otherwise self aware, deprecating humorous character. While it may serve to make her more human it's nevertheless unpleasant in someone whom is beloved otherwise.
