Will Blanche ever come around on regards to Rebecca's baby?

When Rebecca (Debra ingle) comes to Miami to have her baby, Blanche is still upset by the fact that she doesn't have a legitimate father and wants to have the baby at a birthing center rather than a hospital. This creates dissention between the two, and it seems it will take a miracle for her to come around. While short on real plot but strong on mother/daughter relationships, this features funny moments in regards to the pain of childbirth, especially with Sophia teasing Dorothy about her size when she was born. This episode is also memorable for Roses skating outfit and Sophia's reaction to Rose wearing ankle weights.

It is time for Rebecca to have her baby. She comes to Miami to see her mom and also says that she wants to maybe have her baby there. She first wants to have the baby in the natural environment but changes her mind. Blanche keeps on insisting they go to have the baby back at Rebecca's city because she is embarrassed. But then there is labor and they have to go the hospital.

I must say they are a bit too much against midwifery. Seems like they attitude from the times. Fun part where Rose calls a different coach, why did he even come!.

Blanche is once again as old fashioned and judgmental as she can be. So weird that they made her character like this! But then she has a great moment with her daughter delivering a baby and being being impressed by the umbilical cord.
