Warning: Spoilers
Rose misses her high school reunion so Blanche suggest they all go to hers and pretend to e other people. They do so and have a lot of fun. Dorothy is even elected a prom queen. But Rose who is feeling bad, has a heart attack and taken to the hospital. She feels better but when the girls come to visit her next day she is in for an operation.

Wow, what an episode. They really are trying to hold us on the edge towards the end of the show.

It started very funny. Loved the scenes from the prom, many good jokes and a good idea.

But now they make us worried about Rose and wonder, what will happen next?

Wrapping it down with some desperation.

Warning: Spoilers
Obviously Bea Arthur had the right idea. She could see the writing on the wall, seeing that the scripts were not as strong consistently as they used to be. In fact, if season 7 is any indication, season one of "Golden Palace" was desperate to keep the legacy going. Since Rose missed her class reunion, Blanche suggests that they go to a 1952 Miami high school reunion, pretending to be other people. It's forced up to the end when a twist puts a part two on us, giving Rose one last storyline hurrah. Rose's identity at the high school reunion is an Asian exchange student, and Dorothy's alter ego is prom queen. Blanche's alter ego is the class pariah who has had more scandal and made more enemies in the class than Blanche and any other TV vixen combined. The real storyline shows up half way through the episode when Rose has a medical emergency, much more profound than the absurdity of the first half. We finally get to meet Janet, Blanche's other daughter. I had to look her up so I wouldn't confuse her with Rebecca, the daughter who appeared more often and had a child via artificial insemination. She appears with Blanche's granddaughter whom we had just seen a few episodes before, the one that Blanche forced into a beauty contest. It's here where I need a scorecard to figure out which Devereaux is which, especially since we have met her older son David early in the series and never saw him again.
