There Goes the Bride: Part 1 (#6.16)

Dorothy is secretly dating Stan again. And at some point he proposes. Dorothy accepts it and they start planning the wedding. Including a bridal shower with a stripper cop. But Sophia takes no part in this. In order to make her accept it Dorothy tries it in a more traditional way by having Stan ask Sophia for permission, but Sophia refuses to give it.

They are doing a good job with the Dorothy and Stan story. I really like how it is going and the best part is I really don't know how exactly it will end.

Lots of laughs as well, the cop confusion at the bridal shower was a very fun scene. And Rose had lots of her funny lines in this episode.

One of the funniest episodes

This episode had me laughing so much my stomach hurt. Really excellent writing and acting. There's something rather surreal about some of the scenarios in this episode, the tone was a little different than some of the others.

I don't mind the "continuity error" too much- it's a shame when people take it too seriously. Ok, so Miles' whole witness protection thing had been forgotten this episode. That's just because they screened them out of order, never mind.

Favourite line from this episode, maybe- Dorothy: I'll give you a clue, it's the best thing that can happen to a woman. Rose: it's the circus! The circus is in town!

Stand by your Stan.

Normally, episodes surrounding Dorothy and her yutz ex-husband can get on my nerves, but as their relationship began to improve in the 6th season, I saw them in a different light as he atoned for his past offenses against Dorothy. They build up to a great conclusion in season 6 that will keep him on the canvas, and culminate with a warm moment in the last episode. Dorothy is trying to hide from her mother that she's seeing Stan again, and Sophia is furious, especially when Dorothy accepts his proposal. damn, who initially proposed to dorisy years ago by putting a ring at the bottom of a glass of champagne, tops himself by putting it inside a potato, representative of his invention of the Szporny. Meanwhile, Rose is dealing with calls from the ex-wife of her current boyfriend, and mentions that she's only seeing him because miles is away. Obviously this episode was filmed prior to miles going into the witness protection program, a little glitz in continuity. Everything will be tied up nicely in the next episode that has a few guest surprises.

Huge continuity error

Unless they showed the episodes out of order but in the previous episode Miles To Go Miles has to go back to back into witness protection Miles is mentioned in this episode that he was in Europe with some students and Rose should date his friend . Huh ???
