Hancock goes off to a well deserved skiing holiday to the Swiss alps.
Only to cause trouble on the plane. He upsets the air hostess by mentioning her size. He also acts like a nervous passenger who seems to be on the plane for the first time. Even calling the pilot, a driver!
Once he arrives at the hotel, he claims to be a celebrity. Only the manager does not seem to have a booking. He does remember Hancock from the previous year as he left without paying his bill and took some hotel items with him as mementos.
Hancock does end up sharing his room but he will only pay half the price. At first there is a mix up with a female hotel guest Miss Dubois (June Whitfield.)
Later his room mate turns out to be an irritating young man, the Yodeller of Dulwich (Kenneth Williams.) The yodelling quickly becomes irritating to Hancock.
It is an episode with many familiar faces such as Liz White and Richard Wattis. Rather a lot of guest stars who would become Carry On stars.
It was a good episode, Hancock performs with gusto. I did wonder why Hancock acted like a first time plane passenger when he had been to Switzerland before.
