Hancock has a cold, a cold which overtakes him and forces him to take extreme measures to try and treat it, an unimpressed Sid takes steps to ensure he doesn't catch it.
It's an amusing start to what would be the final series of the show in this format. The scenario is funny, and at times a little close to home, look out for some well known faces.
It's amazing to think that people have been going to see their GP's with a simple cold for decades, even now there's a campaign running not to go to The Surgery with a cold, 63 years on, and people still do.
Hancock was definitely something of a hypochondriac, he lets the entire world get on top of him here, fortunately he has Sid to try and instill a little positivity into him, and get him moving.
Seeing Sid sat there with a face mask on, sat next to a contagious Hancock, that served as quite a startling reminder of recent times. Goes to show masks babe been around some time.
A hilarious turn from Patricia Hayes, I loved the way Mrs Cravatte tried to deal with Hancock, what a hoot. John Le Mesurier was great as The Doctor, he'd appeared several times on the show, another actor with great comedy timing.
A real classic.
8/10.
