Joanie loves Potsie

I remember this episode, They Call It Potsie Love, and this was the one where Joanie (the late Erin Moran) had a crush on Potsie Weber (Anson Williams). If this was a Friends episode it would be called The One Where Joanie Has a Crush on Potsie. Anyway, I was moved to write this imdb review because I just watched the Parker Lewis Can't Lose episode Love's a Beast, which had a similar plot where Parker Lewis's younger sister had a crush on Mikey. Anyway, Love's a Best may have been inspired by this Happy Days episode, as Love's a Beast debuted 15 years after They Call It Potsie Love. It's hard to believe Erin Moran is no longer with us.

Joanie gets a crush on Potsie when he sings a song to her.

An OK episode, an early one that focuses on Joanie. Anson Williams sings the Paul Anka song "Put Your Head On My Shoulder". The producers seemed to want to make him into a singing idol but it never happened. There is an amusing dream sequence where Joanie marries Potsie. We also get to hear Doris Day sing "Secret Love" on the jukebox.

Well it would be better if Joanie loved me but any show with Joanie gets an automatic ten from me. I find it amazing how seeing Joanie all these years latter and I still think she is absolutely gorgeous.
