Setting up the famed Harm-Mac-Mic Australian triangle in the second part
hindsonevansmike19 March 2021
No Aussie trope was left un-insulted in the making of this two-parter. By this time, the JAG team knew their characters and the script writers were prolonging the Harm-Mac uncertainties with the Mic Brumby character inserted into the middle. "Mic" and "Harm" played their "rutting kangaroo" parts to perfection - just as you might expect for a testosterone-fuelled "alpha-male" trope around the turn of the century. Wow, this was filmed 22 years ago!

The Belisarius team decamped to the southern hemisphere (presumably to escape a Californian winter) and they filmed a pair of informative and entertaining episodes around the time of the millennium.

No Australian prejudice was harmed (or amended ) in the making of this episode - or part two. Together, they help to kill an hour and a half on the TV.

Plus, the Australian tourism industry didn't lose out. I may visit one day!
