I love it when elevator tout Sheldon Leonard sidles up and advises Jack to take elevator #3 because #4 is "carrying too much weight". These little cameos from the likes of Leonard, Frank Nelson, Mel Blanc, were always a hoot and added a lot. Good show. The Sportsmen quartet and Rochester do a snappy number, while Jack turns on the airy charm at the May Co. to win a date from reluctant salesgirl Mary. And what a fine comedic actress real-life wife Mary Livingstone is. And catch that $1.98 shirt that lasts forever and looks like paint dribbled on it. Naturally, it's Jack's favorite. All in all, it's a typically funny and easy-going half-hour, courtesy of Jack and friends.
