Lubbock Babes Boarding Trouble
hellraiser72 August 2021
This is an honorable mention in my book and of course it's another about the Lubbock Babes which as usual is great.

The episode plays out like an episode of "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" as the story is a suspense thriller from beginning to end. I really like how there is a double layer of suspense where on one hand we really want to see the Lubbock Babes somehow get out of the jam their in.

However, on the other hand we all know that the jig is up for the Lubbock Babes that Graham and Elizabeth are going to find out eventually which means the hammer is already going to come down on all of them we just know when or even how fast and hard the impact will be.

It's just funny how we see how the Lubbock Babes are constantly working around the clock in the cover up. But of course, like in all the Hitchcock episodes the best laid schemes go array at some point. From the fact one or few can't get their cover stories straight or one has forgotten it no doubt Cindy no surprise.

Some are conspiring against each other, Wendy whom with her shallowness and Connie from her own ego. But also, simply being conflicted by their own conscious mainly Marie whom was always the most moral of the sisters, not just does she feel terrible about the accident but even worse about the cover up which goes against her ethical nature, though same is said for all of them.

Will the Lubbock Babes make their getaway to salvation or straight into the slammer? You just must wait and see.

Rating: 4 stars.
