This is another favorite episode of mine and a different kind as it's an anthology. I always like anthology episodes as it's something we don't get often for TV shows, let alone that this is one based on music, which is also rare, which in a way makes this episode also a musical, and this was before musical episodes became common place now.

This episode as it really gives us the opportunity to explore the psyches of each of the characters but also, it's endearing because it's true, each of us have dreams of our own, despite how their built up realistically or not, they're within us all the same.

Each of the dreams are good in their own way, Wendy's was good if not my absolute favorite probably because Wendy isn't one of my favorite characters but that's just me, not a lot I can say about hers it's one you have to see for yourself as it's practically the epidemy of her shallowness. But also, you can say a bit of a parody and satire on the concept of celeb egotism and power in general, how ridiculous it can truly be.

Connie's dream is dryly hilarious as it's we see her want of being a famous world renounce writer or artist of some sort. It's funny because here she's caught up in the stereotype of the tragic artist in constant pain as well as a heartbreaker to maintain the lifestyle. This really shows not just a little of the height of Connie's own ego but also, she's a person that probably needs to take a break from the books and smell reality occasionally.

Marie's dream is funny in a calm sense, hers isn't fame but to be useful to mankind and the world. We see her as a nun, really like her interaction with the Mother Superior which is played by Deborah Harmon. I remember first seeing the Mother Superior, I honestly didn't know it was Deborah, I really thought it was a different actress. Deborah performed the role well as I not just bought her in the role but also, she was dryly funny from how she delivers the lines but also you sense a woman slightly exhausted from Marie being too good for her own good. It's fitting she would be the Mother Superior; this is Marie's dream after all, and this is part of what she sees her mother as.

But we see Marie is charged simply with boosting the morale of the Pope and really like the song Marie sings which is sort of an old fashion French song, it's just funny how she was able to get everyone in the room to dance to the music but also in the end when Marie gets a little to caught up in the dream and all three sisters look at her strangely as Marie is doing a dance that wasn't part of their act, just comic silver.

Cindy's is the most surprising of all as it's one that's not all about achieving some sort of fame and music at all. Here we see it's on the simplest desires which is on finding love, being married and having a family which make it all the warmer and sweeter. Which also in a way makes this my favorite dream sequence of all if you can believe that as it's one most to all of us can relate to as most of us have this but most of all shows how sometimes it's the simplest dreams that are the best ones to have.
