  J'onn J'onzz : When I was a child on Mars, we had small toys called illusitrons. They could project crude images over objects and even empty space.

  Superman : And you think this is a larger version.

  J'onn J'onzz : The engineering principles appear to be the same.

  Superman : So, it's an illusion.

  J'onn J'onzz : It would explain why this moon's orbit has remained intact.

  Superman : But who...

  Kanjar-Ro : [firing at them from a spaceship]  The secret will stay buried with them.

  J'onn J'onzz : [emerging from the rubble]  This moon is filled with surprises.

• Superman : John's innocent! That's your cue, Hawkgirl. Hope you can hear me.

  Hawkgirl : Loud and clear.

  [throwing her mace, she smashes the illusitron, and the asteroid illusion ends] 

  Superman : Adjouris 4 was never destroyed. It's right where it always was. It was all an illusion; a frame-up, as they say on my planet.

  John Stewart : You!

  [tackling Kanjar-Ro] 

  John Stewart : Why'd you do this to me? Why?

  Kanjar-Ro : For... for money.

  John Stewart : Whose money?

  Kanjar-Ro : The Manhunters'.

• John Stewart : Where are the Manhunters?

  Guardian of Oa : Headed back to Oa.

  John Stewart : Back to Oa? They've been there before?

  Guardian of Oa : Yes. We created them there.

  The Flash : Say what?

  Guardian of Oa : It was before the Lantern Corps. We thought robots would make good peacekeepers, but they were flawed. They couldn't understand the subtle gradations between good and evil.

  Superman : Why didn't you decommission them?

  Guardian of Oa : We reprogrammed them for lesser duties; tracking, hunting, guarding. They didn't seem to object.
