As everyone falls into Chet Elderson's grave, Hank's glasses are sitting on the ground by the edge, but Hank is wearing them once the scene cuts to them piled on the grave's floor.
When Hank arrives at the fire station with the frito pie Peggy made for them, he sees Boomhauer reading a magazine in his chair while wearing brown slacks. A second later, when Boomhauer gets up to cook the pie, he's suddenly back in his usual blue jeans.
When Dale removes the battery from the smoke alarm in Boomhauer's version of the incident, the ceiling changes its appearance between shots.
All through the hearing, Hank's glasses are repaired on the right and the bridge with tape, but the left side is fine. When he's recounting how the fire started, both sides are suddenly repaired.
At one point Hank Hill offers to sharpen the fire axes, however, sharpening fire axes is contrary to accepted firefighting practices. A sharp edge presents an additional safety risk on the fire scene. Additionally, a blunter edge makes performing some firefighting tasks much easier.
Boomhauer tries to defend Chet Elderson at the end of the episode, but to no avail, since the chief doesn't understand him. However, he clearly understood Boomhauer in an earlier scene, because he asked, "So you're saying Bill left the oven on?" when Boomhauer accused Bill of doing this in his version of the incident.
