After telling Valene that Bobby and Betsy are watching Big (1988), Gary jokingly wishes that he and Valene could find a Zoltar machine which would make them little instead of big so that they could live their lives over. Valene replies that she would not want to risk it as, that way, she might not meet Gary and she could not imagine her life without him and the kids.
