Captain Donald Cragen mentions a hoax perpetrated in September 2004 by "Jessica." Jessica was supposedly a four-year-old girl in Paterson, New Jersey, whose mother had been hit and wasn't moving. She supplied the 911 operator with a wealth of information, none of which turned out to be true. Police searched desperately for the child, only to learn that the entire call was a hoax perpetrated by a seventeen-year-old girl.
