He later goes out to get a story about a theater being torn down which convinces White to accept him because he has initiative. Lois Lane is intent on uncovering a plan to sabotage a mission to save the space station Prometheus. White teams Lois up with the rookie Clark due to all the experienced reporters being unavailable. Meanwhile, Clark is frustrated that he cannot use his powers to help others without exposing himself and jeopardizing his chance at leading a normal life. He consults his mother, Martha Kent, and the two come up with the Superman costume. The wealthy Lex Luthor announces plans for a space station to replace Prometheus.—Ploy P.
