While I enjoyed the episode, it is one of my favorites, I disagreed with some of the characters actions or statements. After Leslie made a pass at Lois, he says he'd hate to think Clark would leave the Planet based on his actions. Why wouldn't the notion be if Clark left, Lois would too? The other part that bothered me was the Massey interviews Leslie set up to keep Clark away from Atlantic City. He has Clark interview a man on Death Row. Clark is against all killings and even if it's by his hands or an accident, he agonizes over it. I would think watching a man be put to death (instead of life in prision) would not be something Clark would want to see and even try to mess with the machines using his laser vision, yet he returns with a better appreciation of life. Superman would protest killing of a person who is already in prison and unable to hurt anyone else.
